About this event
Are you someone who wants to explore your spirituality without religious expectations? Sacred and secular stories, poems, & other writings have helped people understand their identity and place in this world throughout time.
Story can act as teacher, mentor and compassionate guide as we seek the Spirit within, above, below and around us.
Join spoken word artist and author Regi Carpenter as she guides and support you in this online Zoom class Storytelling as a Spiritual Practice. In three 90-minute classes we will listen to self and others, write, share and reflect in order to deepen your writing and speaking skills, broaden your understanding of story as personal guide and revel in the spoken word. We will draw inspiration from Rumi poems, Grimm's Fairy tales, folk tales, Celtic Spirituality, and personal stories.
No previous experience is necessary.
