Join guest host Niya Foster and friends for our latest noncompetitive open mic for storytellers and story lovers.
Niya is a young community leader, artist, singer, poem writer, and teacher who says “My favorite thing to do is put a smile on people's faces.” Bring a story to tell (limit eight minutes) or just come to be moved and entertained.
The theme this time is “Origins.” If you want to tell a story, just show up and put your name in the hat. You're free to interpret the theme any way you like, or to ignore it entirely. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
