About this event
Bring an item of clothing or anything that needs some TLC and be ready to stitch, patch, darn, and swap stories. We will provide basic supplies. Host Margaret Ball-Lumumba loves mending as a practice of self-care, earth care and community care. She is versed in a variety of mending techniques and loves teaching and learning.
Mending is good for the planet – and for the soul! No prior knowledge is needed, and everyone is welcome.
