Presentation Night

Story House Ithaca is pleased to present Presentation Night, an evening of very brief talks given by non-experts. Come celebrate the joy of learning together. If it’s as fun as we think it will be, we’ll make it a regular occurrence!

Our host is storyteller and mapping engineer Omar Shehata. We’ll provide snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. Feel free to bring your own wine or beer. There's no admission fee, but we will ask for donations.

How it works

We’ll aim for five presentations over the course of the evening. Please consider giving one of them! You don't have to be an expert on your topic. In fact, we encourage you to share things you've just learned about. You can give us a demonstration, walk us through an argument or a finding, or just tell us stuff we didn’t know. The only rule is that your presentation be five minutes or less.

Visuals are great but not required. There will be a laptop, projector, and screen on site.
