My Multimedia Adventure: An Afternoon with Jonathan Miller

What happens when a writer stops trying to "dazzle" and starts trying to be useful? Join us at MACRE for an informal talk by writer, newspaper and magazine journalist, TV and radio producer, media project leader, and civic activist Jonathan Miller as he shares the story of his personal and professional journey.

"My Multimedia Adventure" traces Jon’s journey from his early days as an aspiring literary writer, through his "walkabout" years seeking wisdom in the world, to a career as a globetrotting freelance journalist, to a decade leading international media projects, and finally to a life devoted to storytelling as a public good. He will aim his talk at media makers, but everyone is welcome.

Founded in June 2025, the Media Arts Collective + Resource Exchange (MACRE, pronounced "Maker") is a place for learning and creating through connection with others.
