Bring an item of clothing or anything that needs some TLC and be ready to stitch, patch, darn, and swap stories. Host Margaret Ball-Lumumba loves mending as a practice of self-care, earth care and community care. She is versed in a variety of mending techniques and loves teaching and learning!
Mending is good for the planet – and for the soul! No prior knowledge needed, and everyone is welcome.
