Join trailblazing Afghan filmmaker Sahraa Karimi for a free screening of her feature Hava, Maryam, Ayesha at Cinemapolis. The film follows three women from very different backgrounds as they confront personal crises in modern-day Kabul. It was the official Oscar entry for Afghanistan in 2019.

Karimi is the first and only Afghan woman with a PhD in film. She was forced to flee Kabul in 2021. She will take questions after the screening. Reserve your seat on the . Free tickets will also be available at the door. Cinemapolis website
