About this event

Reader and writer Amy Reading hosts the Ithaca Is Books Festival edition of Story House Ithaca's non-competitive, open-mic Story Night. The theme is "The Book That Changed Everything." Come tell a story or just hear what others have to say!

Amy Reading's most recent book, The World She Edited: Katharine S. White at The New Yorker, is a finalist for a Pulitzer Prize and a National Book Critics Circle Award. The book, about a legendary fiction editor, was declared "a literary landmark" by Booklist.

Some local literariti are already lined up but slots will be held for walk-ins. Stories should be eight minutes or less and delivered without notes. We will ask for a $5 donation at the door.
