Black to the Future Shorts and filmmaker Q&A

This selection of short films from Africa, the UK, and the US was curated by Ithaca College film faculty member Shola Ajayi and will be followed by a Zoom conversation with several of the filmmakers. There will be a bubbly toast to launch the festival, courtesy of Red Feet Wine Market & Spirit Provisions.

The films are Hello, Rain (30 mins), Feathers (20 mins), Afronauts (14 mins), The Voice in the Hollow (animated, 10 mins), Tokinbo (13 mins), Cracked Screen (8 mins), Cousins (14 mins), and Reluctantly Queer (8 mins). Zooming in will be filmmakers Rogba Arimoro (Tokunbo), Oge Obasi (Hello Rain), Mandy Marcus (Cousins), and Miguel Ortega (The Voice in the Hollow). The precise line-up is subject to change.
